LTCS is an ongoing CEDAR working group that focuses on the mesosphere
and lower thermosphere, encouraging coordinated collaborative investigations
using a combination of observations and modeling efforts. This workshop
will focus on observational and modeling results of LTCS and related campaigns
and studies. Discussion topics include:
-
Update on TIMED mission status and TIMED/CEDAR collaborative studies
-
Wind and temperature shears in the MLT region
-
Airglow variability
-
MLT climatological studies
-
Latitudinal and longitudinal variability of tides
-
Geomagnetic activity effects on the MLT region
-
