With the recent launch of the TIMED spacecraft, the CEDAR community
now has the opportunity to formulate new scientific endeavors. Some
of these efforts have been defined via the joint CEDAR-TIMED program.
It is the purpose of this workshop to provide ground-based observers
within the CEDAR community an opportunity to present their
collaborative efforts. Currently two efforts within the CEDAR-TIMED
program are planned for this workshop. These are focused on the
structure and variability of the semidiurnal tide and gravity waves.
If you have a collaborative scientific effort that is relevant to the
CEDAR-TIMED program and you would like to present during this workshop,
please contact either
Scott Palo
or
Mike Taylor.
