Front Range Theatre, 1:15-3:15
Thursday, June 21, 2001
This workshop focuses on recent advances in the studies of meteor echoes
and their impacts on the atmosphere/ionosphere using radar and optical
techniques. Discussion topics include:
- Radar and optical observations of meteors
- Radar scattering mechanisms
- Meteor/meteoroid associated chemistry
- Meteor mass flux effects on the ionosphere and the atmosphere
- Discussion on the future directions of meteor research
Some talks that will be presented at the workshop are:
