Abstract: 
This tutorial is designed to introduce students to various
methods of remote sensing, with specific application to middle
atmospheric science.  Both radio frequency(i.e. RADAR) as well
as optical methods (LIDAR, Spectroscopy, Imaging) will be discussed.
