Sondrestrom Incoherent Scatter Radar (son) Ingest

• Most of these instructions are in /tarkin/d/emery/son/instr.add.son
• Receive email from Mary McCready of SRI about a campaign. Save the email as text (e.g. mccready.08jantxt). This email will be combined with other sources to create a header for the Sonde ISR .cbf data, but there is a clear need to teach Mary how to do this step herself
  • Called Mary, and I will try to teach her how to do it week of March 17
• Get the data at SRI: ftp isr.sri.com, login as ftp, email as password, cd /pub/Worldday, ls, binary, prompt, mget *.cbf
  • Got 2 campaigns: Dec 2007 and Jan 2008 - both with 5 .cbf files of acport, acport..3km, cwinds, epec, epec..3km (NOTE: There are different names and numbers of files depending on the experiment)
