The University of Texas at Arlington (http://www.uta.edu/) invites applications and nominations for the position of Associate Vice President for Research. UT Arlington seeks to fill this position by Fall 2006. The Associate Vice President for Research (AVPR) will provide leadership in building the centers of research excellence. The AVPR will work with the Vice President for Research to help recruit new researchers that complement and extend the work occurring in the centers of excellence, to seek funds and funding opportunities to support the work of the centers, and to build partnerships that further the goals of the University.
