Post-Doc in Space Physics at US Air Force Academy, Colorado - due 31 May
The Space Physics and Atmospheric Research Center (SPARC) at the United States Air Force Academy invites applicants for post-doctoral position in experimental space physics beginning June 2005 With an initial appointment for one year. The selected candidate will be expected to help develop plasma sources suitable for simulating the low earth orbit environment as well as developing plasma diagnostic payloads in support of the small satellite program at the Academy. A Ph.D. in Physics or related field is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experimental experience in space physics and a background in ionospheric/thermospheric physics.
