Tenure-track in Experimental Plasma Physics at U of CO, Boulder - due 16 Jan

The Department of Physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, to start August 2007, in experimental plasma physics, including, but not limited to, laser-plasma interactions, particle beams, physics of low temperature and nonneutral plasmas, space and ionospheric plasmas, and fusion plasmas. The successful candidate is expected to establish a vigorous research and teaching program. Start-up funds will be available. Applicants should submit a current curriculum vitae and a summary of current and proposed research activities, and should arrange to have at least three letters of reference sent directly to the Experimental Plasma Physics Search, Department of Physics, 390 UCB, University of Colorado at Boulder, Boulder CO, 80309-0390. For full consideration all application materials, including letters of reference, should be received by January 16, 2007, but applications will continue to be reviewed until the position is filled.
