The Department of Physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position to start August 2009, in experimental, theoretical, or computational plasma physics including, but not limited to, fusion plasmas, laser produced plasmas and high energy density physics, space and ionospheric plasmas, particle beams, and low-temperature and nonneutral plasmas. The successful candidate is expected to establish a vigorous research and teaching program. Start-up funds will be available.
