The Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley anticipates two or more openings at the level of Assistant Research Physicist for outstanding scientists to work on analysis of data from instruments on the following spacecraft missions - Cluster, FAST, IMAGE, Polar, RHESSI, STEREO, and Wind - and/or on instrument development in the area of space plasma physics and/or solar physics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics or Astronomy, with at least two years experience in scientific data analysis and/or development of experiments in the fields of space plasma physics, planetary science, or solar physics. These positions are available for two years with the possibility of renewal, and salaries will be commensurate with experience.
