Two-year Position on Multipoint Measurements in Space Plasmas, Orleans, France
A two-year position is now open in Orléans (France) to work on the reconstruction of three-dimensional dispersion relations from multipoint measurements in space plasmas. The objective is to design and test novel approaches for reconstructing dispersion relations from multipoint data, as needed for missions such as Cluster, Themis, etc.
This position is offered to (non-French) senior researchers who have several years of experience in space plasma physics and who would like to take a leave of absence to work on a challenging problem. The LPCE (http://lpce.cnrs-orleans.fr) will be your host laboratory.
This position is offered within the frame of the STUDIUM programme, which hosts placement of high-level foreign researchers in the Loire valley area for one or two years. The grant includes free housing and a salary level comparable to that of a professor. The administrative procedures and the integration of the children in the education system are taken care of by STUDIUM.
To apply, please follow the procedure described at http://lestudium.cnrs-orleans.fr/. To enquire, contact T. Dudok de Wit (ddwit@cnrs-orleans.fr).
