Multiple Positions at National Cheng-Kung University Taiwan

The National Cheng-Kung University (NCKU) located in Tainan City, Taiwan is establishing the Plasma and Space Science Center (PSSC). The center will officially begin its operation in June, 2006 and Dr. Frank Cheng will serve as its first director. In the space science area, the center will participate in scientific instrument development and building for Taiwan's future satellite missions, theory and modeling, and scientific satellite data analysis. In the plasma science area, the center will initially concentrate on magnetic confinement fusion related research including theory and modeling and development of plasma diagnostics systems. The center has several positions open for tenure faculty, research faculty, postdocs, engineers and visiting faculty. The center invites application for these positions. Application from non-Taiwan citizen is accepted. Interested persons should send Mr. Ann-Chen Jang (Department of Physics, National Cheng-Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan) his/her curriculum vitae and list of publication and a letter indicating his/her intention.
