The Program Director, Applied Sciences, reports to the Director, Earth Science Division. The incumbent is responsible for the overall strategic direction, guidance and focus of the Applied Sciences Program to include coordinating efforts with other Program Directors within the Division, the Applied Sciences Program activities at NASA Field Centers, and with partner agencies, interagency programs, international collaborators, and organizations receiving funding from the program.
