ISAR School on Atmospheric-Ionospheric Remote Sounding and Modeling, 6-18 Oct 2008 at National Central University, Chung-Li, Taiwan, Funding for scientists or students from developing countries due 30 June

Dear colleague,

As in earlier years there will be again an ISAR International School on Atmospheric-Ionospheric Remote Sounding and Modeling conducted at the National Central University in Chung-Li, Taiwan. We have enhanced the topics of the forthcoming school ISAR-NCU 2008 to cover, besides the traditional radar technique and science, also remote sensing of the atmosphere and ionosphere by means of satellites. The school will be held 6-18 October 2008.

We will appreciate if you could select competent young scientists or students from your group, university, organization or observatory etc. to encourage them to consider registering for admission to this school. We note that this school is particularly aiming towards developing countries, especially from South-East Asia, where financial support can be provided by the sponsors. Students from developed countries are not excluded to apply but they should find funding from their home institution.

Interested persons should visit the website, but consider that the registration will not be open before 20 May 2008. Closing date will be 30 June 2008.
