Cassini Position at Imperial College London, UK - due 14 Feb
A research associate position is available to work on the Cassini Magnetometer Team within Space and Atmospheric Physics Group at Imperial College London. The work involves the analysis and interpretation of the magnetic field measurements in the plasma environment of Saturn, including the study of upstream plasma waves, bow shock, magnetopause, or the structure and dynamics of the magnetosphere.
You should have a PhD in space or magnetospheric physics, with background in data processing, analysis and interpretation. Experience in computational work is also desired.
The post is available immediately, for one year in first instance with a possibility of extension.. Salary will be in the range �G22,870 - �G33,330 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
