Two Faculty Positions in Physics and Space Sciences at Florida Institute of Technology

The Department of Physics and Space Sciences at the Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for two positions that preferably will begin in August 2007. The first will be a permanent faculty position at any rank, assistant through full professor. Preference for this position will be given to candidates with expertise in atmospheric electricity, lightning, atmospheric physics, space physics or related fields. The second position will be for a visiting professor (any rank) for the 2007-8 academic year which begins in August. For this position candidates from any discipline within Physics and Space Sciences will be considered. Florida Tech is located on the eastern coast of central Florida, just south of the Kennedy Space Center. Information about the Department can be found at http://cos.fit.edu/pss/.
