Applications are invited for a fixed-term Post Doctoral Fellow position to work on studies related to solar impacts on climate in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Canterbury University, New Zealand.

The study will focus on the modulation of the atmosphere by changes in solar forcing on short time-scales, particularly in the upper stratosphere and mesosphere. This study will use a mixture of chemical composition data provided by satellite instruments, dynamics information provided by satellite instruments and the Scott Base MF radar and Chemistry Climate Model (CCM) simulations.

The applicant will require a working knowledge of a high-level programming language, such as C++, Matlab or IDL.
