Research or Postdoc in Space Physics at U of Alberta, Canada - due 20 Feb

A Research Associate or PDF position is available in the Space Physics Group at the University of Alberta. Successful applicants will have a PhD in solar physics, space physics, plasma physics, astronomy, or applied mathematics. Candidates should have experience in computer simulation using MHD and/or kinetic theory, be able to evaluate real-time solar conditions and their effects on the interplanetary media and planetary magnetospheres. Topics of interest include Space weather, planetary magnetospheres, solar physics, global MHD/ kinetic modeling and would form a part of IHY/ISES project on Space Weather in Solar System (http://www.ihy.rl.ac.uk/CIP_list.shtm#0), supported by Natural Resources Canada.
