Deadlines for 26 June - 01 July 2011 CEDAR-GEM Joint Workshop

• Sat 15 Jan 2011 for CEDAR and GEM joint workshop conveners to request CEDAR-GEM joint workshops on-line. See also the joint guidelines and the joint announcement.

• Fri 04 Feb 2011 for nominations for 2011 CEDAR Prize Lecturer but CSSC nominations should be via the CSSC wiki. Send information to Larisa Goncharenko.

• Early March for the on-line registration to be available

• Fri 04 March 2011 for CEDAR workshop conveners to request not-joint-with-GEM workshops on-line. See also the Guidelines for Workshop Conveners at CEDAR Workshops.

• Fri 13 May for students to register on-line. A late fee of $75 is imposed on student registrations on Monday 16 May. VISA, Mastercard or Diners credit cards can be used in the registration process on-line. Cancellations after May 13 incur a $15 charge.

• Fri 13 May for on-line submission of abstracts for posters. Abstracts are required for all submitted posters. The poster sessions will be held on Tuesday June 28 and Wednesday June 29. There will be an IT and MLT session, the day has not yet been determined.

• Thur 26 May - Sat 4 June for hotel reservations of reserved CEDAR block at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa (26 May), Hilton Santa Fe (27 May) and La Fonda (4 June) ($139 a night). For details on lodging and reservations go to Accommodations.

• Fri 28 May for CEDAR workshop conveners to put final description(s) of their workshop on-line via the workshop list. One description should be student-oriented and will be ??distributed on Sunday, June 20, during the CEDAR Student Workshop. Geared toward students who may be unfamiliar with the workshop topic, this version should include a general description of the context and importance of the topic while avoiding specialized jargon.

• Fri 3 June for non-students to register on-line. A late fee of $75 is imposed on non-student registrations on Monday, 6 June (student late fee starts May 16). VISA, Mastercard or Diners credit cards can be used in the registration process on-line. Cancellations incur a $15 charge.

• By Fri 3 June, all CEDAR students should have purchased their airline tickets. Tickets purchased after this date may not be reimbursed. For details on student travel go to 2011 Workshop:Student_Information
