Description

This workshop provides a forum to present and discuss topics associated with the equatorial thermosphere/ionosphere over South America, with emphasis on the reporting of measurements from current and past observational campaigns. The session will start with presentations made by 3-5 invited speakers talking about recent campaign results (each ~20-min in duration) and then will be opened for contributed talks (each ~10-min in duration). The final hour will be devoted to open, colloquial discussion, with a focus on future campaign planning. Presenters with new instrumentation, new observational techniques, and new collaborations are particularly encouraged to participate.
